A stunning restaurant with amazingly friendly staff. Excellent Flatbreads, Bao Buns, Burgers and Pasta options and a very cozy warm vibe. There is a garden with ample seating and lovely views.

Blue Goose

LUNCH & DINNER

The Blue Goose Restaurant is very nice with great dishes and warm comfortable setting in an old fishing cottage. All of our guests to date have had great experiences there and they have excellent vegetarian dishes.

Taxi Service: The Roundhouse can drop you at the Restaurant and then the restaurant will call us when you are ready to leave and we will pick you up and bring you back.

Thyme at Rosemary

Rosemary is a very interesting character that has been involved in the fashion world as well as many other professions including the White Shark Cage Diving industry. The food at Rosemary’s is excellent with selected local dishes in this warm and historic atmosphere. The restaurant is laced with many antiques and memories from the past and you will feel like you have stepped back in time when dining here. There is a lovely garden at the back which is perfect for lunchtime meals or a coffee.

Coffee on the Rocks

Coffee on the rocks boats great food and excellent views from this oceanfront restaurant and coffee shop. Choose from the set menu or one of their specials or just go there for coffee and cake! Whats stunning about this place is that in Whale season you can sit on the front balcony and enjoy the Whales lying just beyond the cliff edge!

Set at the end of Cliff Street, this 5 Star Guesthouse has opened it’s door for Breakfast and Lunch options. The best views in town and yummy food to go with. 

The Great White House

BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER (TUES & THURS)

In a lovely setting and building close to Kleinbaai harbour where the shark boats and whale boat goes out from. There is a good selection of food on the menu and a nice garden in the back to have lunch if the weather is good. Their specialty is Abalone cooked in many ways so well worth a visit if you want to try some local dishes. For those in the Self Catering cottage this is an excellent place to go for breakfast.

Fish & Chips

If it is fish that you want then you may just want to grab a bag of Fish and Chips and sit on one of the many benches along the cliff edge watching the Whales or beautiful Sunset. There are now 2 options for Fish and chips in Gansbaai with the Fish Lady at the Beginning of Town and the Fish Barrel in Town at the Superspar shopping center.

For easy food options there is a Wimpy and KFC at the Superspar centre at the end of town
